OEM Account Manager

OEM Account Manager

About Numa

Numa is building the platform to power AI-native dealerships, rearchitecting automotive service and sales with advanced AI agents that automate customer interactions, streamline operations, and reimagine how dealerships work. Numa integrates AI into every aspect of dealership functions, from rescuing customer calls and voicemails that generate more revenue, to reducing customer resolution times to drive overall customer satisfaction (CSI), to improving dealership team productivity and accountability. Numa has raised $50 million from leading investors (Google, Threshold, Costanoa, Mitsui, and Touring Capital).

The Role

The OEM Account Manager will own and grow our relationship with the largest Numa's OEM partners, currently Ford, GM, and Stellantis, representing ~10,000 stores. This is a high-visibility, quota-carrying role that sits at the intersection of enterprise account management, partnership strategy, and program execution. You will be responsible for deepening the commercial relationship, driving dealer enrollment and adoption of Numa across the OEM's network, and turning a single program into a durable, expanding partnership.

We're looking for someone who has managed complex enterprise accounts and/or has demonstrable skills to do so, and thrives on the relationship and organization skills side of the job: someone who is in it for the people, has real hustle, and uses AI as a force multiplier so more of their time goes toward face time with OEM partners instead of busywork. Automotive industry experience is highly preferred.

What You’ll Do

  • Own the day to day relationship for Numa's OEM partner programs, running a proactive engagement cadence that monitors program health
  • Build genuine, trusted relationships across key levels of the OEM organization to protect and grow partnership
  • Prepare and lead program reviews, translating dealership and product data into polished presentations that advance Numa's position with OEM stakeholders.
  • Assist in the preparation and coordination of responses to OEM RFPs, RFIs, and vendor evaluations
  • Spot opportunities and apply value selling principles to expand Numa's footprint within each OEM account, and negotiate outcomes that are mutually beneficial for the OEM and for Numa.
  • Partner with Numa's sales and customer success teams to convert OEM-level endorsement into dealership-level revenue and retention.
  • Track program health, open risks, and action items with a level of organization that keeps nothing from slipping through the cracks.

What You Bring

  • 5 to 7 years of enterprise sales or account management experience, ideally managing Fortune 500 caliber accounts; automotive OEM experience (GM, Ford, Stellantis, or a tier 1 supplier) is a strong plus.
  • Experience navigating large, matrixed organizations and building relationships from line level managers up to executive sponsors.
  • An AI native way of working: you already use AI tools to move faster and get more done, and you can bring that mindset to a fast moving OEM account using AI to accelerate account prep, reporting and follow through
  • A genuine love of working with people; you're energized by frequent in person and virtual interaction, not drained by it.
  • Unparalleled hustle: you're comfortable in a fast moving, high accountability environment and you don't wait to be told what's next.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including comfort presenting to and negotiating with senior executives.
  • Strong project management skills, with experience coordinating complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives (program rollouts, renewals, RFP responses) against firm deadlines.
  • Strong forecasting and account-planning discipline, with hands-on CRM experience (Hubspot or similar).
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • Willingness to travel to the Detroit area roughly 50% of the time for in person meetings, business reviews, and relationship building.
