Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Off Shift Production Supervisor to oversee our manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing and be available to work off shifts. As a Shift Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring that production goals are met while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily production activities and manage a team of production workers.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Monitor production processes and workflows to optimize efficiency and output.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate team members on best practices in manufacturing and assembly.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations across the manufacturing facility.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and forklifts as necessary to facilitate production tasks.
- Address any production issues or challenges promptly to minimize downtime.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a manufacturing facility or factory environment is essential.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
- Experience operating forklifts and using various hand and power tools is highly desirable.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with team members and other departments.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Work Environment
- Comfortable in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to lift and move parts/equipment up to 50 pounds.
Skills
- At least two years in a supervisory role of people or processes.
- Strong communications skills. Demonstrates ability to collaborate cross-functionally and coordinate efforts around process improvement.
