Northeast Appliance Repair has proudly served North Louisiana for over 10 years and is continuing to grow. We are looking for an experienced Office Manager to oversee the daily operations of our service office.
This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys solving problems, and can keep technicians, customers, billing, and scheduling organized throughout the day.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily technician scheduling and dispatch
- Answer incoming customer calls with professionalism
- Handle customer concerns and resolve issues efficiently
- Keep technician schedules full and on track
- Create invoices and submit warranty claims
- Process customer payments and assist with collections
- Maintain accurate billing and customer records
- Coordinate with technicians, customers, and warranty companies
- Keep multiple priorities moving while maintaining excellent customer service
- Help ensure the daily operation of the service department runs smoothly
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in an office management, dispatch, service coordinator, or customer service leadership role
- Proven ability to handle difficult customer situations professionally
- Strong multitasking and organizational skills
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
- Experience with billing and invoicing
- Detail-oriented with strong computer skills
- Ability to prioritize work in a busy office
- Dependable, self-motivated, and a team player
Preferred Experience
Experience in one or more of the following industries is strongly preferred:
- Appliance Repair
- HVAC
- Plumbing
- Electrical
- Automotive Service
- Construction
- Property Management
- Medical Scheduling
- Other service-based businesses
Applicants whose experience is primarily retail sales or cashier positions are unlikely to be a good fit for this role.
