Office Operations Coordinator (6 months)

Job Title: Office Operations & Culture Coordinator (6-Month Maternity Cover)

Location: Perth, WA (West Perth / CBD)

Role Type: 6-Month Fixed-Term Contract (Immediate start through late March) Hours: Part-Time / Flexible (20–25 hrs/week, open to schedule structure)

Position Overview:

We build high-impact software, but we know great products only happen when the people building them have the runway, support, and environment to focus and thrive. Our development team is brilliant at what they do, but they need a dedicated, high-EQ partner to keep daily operations seamless, protect their focus, and bring warm, human energy to the office while our current manager is on maternity leave.

If you are a natural connector, an organizational wizard, and someone who takes pride in making a team's day run smoother, we'd love to meet you.

You'll love this job if you like to:

No two days look the same, and that is exactly how you like it. You will act as the "connective tissue" of our workplace:

  1. Own the Environment: Keep our office looking sharp, welcoming, and fully stocked (curating great coffee and office snacks is a genuine priority).
  2. Shield the Tech Team: Handle incoming logistical friction, vendor coordination, scheduling, and team lunches so our developers can stay locked in deep focus.
  3. Champion the Culture: Onboard local and remote new starters seamlessly, and coordinate team meetings and gatherings people actually look forward to.
  4. Be the Fixer: When unpredictable operational hiccups arise, you are the proactive person who says, "I've got this," and gets it sorted.

What you'll need to be successful:

We care far more about your emotional intelligence, resourcefulness, and positive attitude than traditional corporate tenure. This role is ideal for an early-career professional, an agency account coordinator, event producer, creative administrator, or hospitality standout looking for a supportive, high-trust environment.

  1. High EQ & Warmth: You naturally read a room, notice when teammates are under pressure, and bring a calm, grounding presence.
  2. Structured yet Flexible: You love checklists and clean spreadsheets, but you stay calm and agile when plans pivot quickly.
  3. Tech-Fluent: You pick up modern workplace tools, communication platforms, and software effortlessly.
  4. A Helper at Heart: You find genuine satisfaction in removing roadblocks so others can excel.

This role offers excellent schedule flexibility, making it ideal for balancing personal commitments, studies, or creative pursuits during a six-month contract, while providing the opportunity to work in a highly collaborative, low-ego environment where your contributions are valued and make a visible impact.
