The plant is one of four meat processing facilities owned and operated by Thomas Foods International and produces Goat & Sheep. We ship to Europe, USA and most of Australia.
Our plant in Bourke NSW is currently seeking a Quality Assurance Officer to join our team.

The position of Quality Assurance Officer is primarily responsible for, ensuring that the Thomas Foods International (TFI) HACCP based Quality System is implemented within TFI Bourke site departments. The QA Officer must monitor production to ensure the products meet yield targets, specifications, providing employees with support and training in this area and ensure all the WH&S requirements are met as per TFI Company Policies and relevant acts.

Accountability's
- Meet production requirements
- Provide training
- Meet workplace health & safety requirements
- Accurately complete documentation as & when required
- Production Hygiene and sanitation Monitoring
- Product conformance with AUS-MEAT and customer quality standards including offal
Qualities & Qualifications
- Certificate 2 Meat Processing Abattoirs
- Certificate 3 Meat Processing
- AUS-MEAT Accreditation Sheep/ Goat- carcass & offal specifications, fat storing, freezer & chiller storage, ticking & stamping and dressing requirements.
- Excellent people & communication skills, excellent & problem solving.
- Valid Drivers Licence
