Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and technically strong Offset Printing Manager to lead and manage a high-performing offset printing operation within a leading packaging manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving print quality, operational efficiency, productivity, cost control, team performance, and customer satisfaction while ensuring the smooth execution of daily printing operations. This role requires a hands-on printing professional with extensive technical expertise in offset printing processes, machinery, and production management. The ideal candidate will be capable of leading teams, optimizing production performance, troubleshooting technical issues, and consistently delivering high-quality products within demanding production schedules.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the overall operations of the Offset Printing Department.
• Ensure the delivery of high-quality printed products that meet customer specifications and quality standards.
• Oversee all offset printing processes including pre-press, printing, and finishing operations.
• Monitor production schedules and ensure timely completion of customer orders.
• Drive operational efficiency, productivity improvements, and cost optimization initiatives.
• Implement wastage reduction strategies and continuously improve resource utilization.
• Troubleshoot technical printing issues and implement effective corrective actions.
• Ensure printing machinery and equipment operate efficiently while coordinating maintenance requirements.
• Develop and maintain printing standards, operating procedures, and quality control processes.
• Monitor production metrics and implement improvements to achieve departmental objectives.
• Lead, motivate, coach, and develop printing teams to achieve high performance and operational excellence.
• Conduct performance evaluations and identify training and development requirements.
• Collaborate closely with Sales, Pre-Press, Production Planning, Quality Assurance, and Maintenance teams to ensure seamless workflow execution.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing print quality, operational performance, and customer satisfaction.
• Ensure adherence to workplace safety standards, company policies, and operational procedures.
• Provide technical guidance and support to team members whenever required.

Candidate Profile

• 5–6 years of experience in a similar managerial or supervisory role within the printing industry.
• Strong technical expertise in offset printing processes, machinery, and printing technologies.
• Comprehensive knowledge of pre-press, printing, and finishing operations.
• Strong understanding of printing quality standards, color management, production control, and process optimization.
• Experience in troubleshooting printing and production-related issues.
• Proven experience managing teams within a manufacturing or printing environment.
• Strong leadership, communication, and people management skills.
• Excellent planning, organizational, and decision-making capabilities.
• Ability to manage production schedules and deliver results under demanding deadlines.
• Strong problem-solving abilities with a proactive and hands-on management style.
• Ability to work collaboratively with multiple departments and stakeholders.
