Job purpose
The role of the offshore personnel – completion operations is to support the safe and efficient running and installation of downhole intelligent completion equipment and control lines during offshore operations.
The candidate will work as part of a 6–8 person offshore crew, supporting rig-up, rig-down, tool deployment, equipment handling, installation, and operational troubleshooting in line with client requirements and offshore safety standards.
Key responsibilities and duties
- Run and install downhole intelligent completion equipment and control lines offshore.
- Work as part of a 6–8 person crew during offshore completion operations.
- Assist in rig-up, rig-down, and tool deployment activities.
- Ensure all equipment is handled, installed, and operated safely.
- Follow operational procedures, client requirements, and site instructions.
- Support troubleshooting and operational problem-solving on-site.
- Maintain a strong safety-first approach throughout all offshore activities.
- Comply with all HSE policies, procedures, and offshore safety requirements.
- Support team operations and follow instructions from supervisors and senior crew members.
- Work effectively in demanding offshore environments and rotational shift patterns.
- Communicate clearly with crew members, supervisors, and client representatives.
- Contribute to safe, disciplined, and efficient execution of completion operations.
Requirements
Educational and technical requirements
- Proven offshore experience with downhole completion equipment.
- Experience running and installing intelligent completion equipment and control lines.
- Familiarity working within a multi-person offshore crew environment, typically 6–8 personnel.
- Strong understanding of offshore safety standards and operational procedures.
- Valid offshore certifications, such as BOSIET and offshore medical, where applicable.
- Ability to work in demanding offshore environments.
- Ability to work rotational shifts.
- Willingness to follow instructions and support wider team operations.
