Job Summary:
Stunt Performers will portray various characters throughout the Nightfall event, working under a specific script but also needing to improvise as their character requires. They will interact directly with audience members of all ages to create the desired atmosphere for the show. Along with dialogue and audience interaction, they will perform stunts that enhance the visual storytelling of our live performances. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional physical abilities, creativity, and a strong sense of safety.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Acquire and perform staging techniques and a variety of stunts, such as fight choreography, falls and pyrotechnic effects.
- Follow strict safety guidelines and protocols to minimize risk and ensure the safety of all crew members.
- Memorize and perform scripted scenes in a timely manner while portraying various characters.
- Participate in rehearsals to practice stunts and action sequences, ensuring the performance is presented safely and convincingly.
- Work closely with department Leads and Cast Supervisor to choreograph and execute action sequences.
- Utilize and manage stunt equipment, such as PPE and other protective gear, ensuring it is used correctly and maintained.
