Position Overview
A Child’s Place Early Learning Center is seeking a dedicated, full-time Older Toddler Teacher to join our collaborative Toddler Team. This position works with children ages 2–3 and plays a key role in supporting their academic, social, emotional, and physical development through a learning-through-play approach.
We are looking for an educator who thrives in a team environment, is confident leading a classroom, and is passionate about fostering independence and growth in young children.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage the daily classroom functions for a group of up to 12 children
- Plan and implement engaging lessons and activities aligned with ACP curriculum
- Support children’s development across all domains (academic, social-emotional, fine/gross motor)
- Foster a safe, nurturing, and structured classroom environment
- Build strong, positive relationships with families
- Assist with daily routines including meals, nap time, toileting, and potty training
- Maintain classroom cleanliness and organization, as well as shared center spaces
- Collaborate effectively with co-teachers and leadership team
- Adhere to all Department of Human Services regulations and ACP policies
- Participate in staff meetings, trainings, and ongoing professional development
- Contribute to a positive and professional workplace culture
