Role Summary

The Omni Backend Associate supports backend marketplace execution by managing product uploads, stock monitoring, compliance, and policy setup across Walmart (U.S. & Canada), Target+, and Best Buy (U.S. & Canada). By keeping listings accurate, products in stock, and policies aligned, this role ensures smooth backend performance that fuels Chai Vision's omnichannel growth.

This is a hands-on, execution-focused role for someone who is detail-oriented, proactive about catching errors before they become problems, and comfortable working across multiple marketplace platforms at once. What You'll Do

Marketplace Back-End Management

  • Upload and configure new SKUs across Walmart, Walmart Canada, Target+, Best Buy U.S., and Best Buy Canada
  • Ensure product details, pricing, stock, and attributes sync correctly from Shopify and SellerCloud
  • Troubleshoot suppressed SKUs, missing content, and unpublished items

Inventory & Stock Management

  • Monitor inventory across all assigned platforms to prevent out-of-stocks
  • Track Walmart Fulfillment Services (WFS) inventory and seller performance
  • Flag low stock or performance issues and coordinate timely updates

Policy & Logistics Setup

  • Set up shipping, return policies, and logistics parameters across platforms
  • Monitor marketplace performance metrics (e.g., Walmart Seller Scorecard)
  • Resolve logistics or policy issues promptly to maintain good standing

Compliance & Marketplace Health

  • Monitor backend alerts for violations (hazmat, category misplacement, etc.)
  • Proactively address compliance issues to prevent penalties or account risk
  • Support smooth marketplace operations by maintaining account health

Reporting & Monitoring

  • Run monthly returns reports and share analysis with management
  • Track performance alerts and flag critical issues for resolution
  • Maintain accurate reporting of backend performance and compliance
  • Provide regular updates on issues, progress, and risks, escalating platform-related challenges clearly when needed

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
  • 1–2+ years of experience in eCommerce marketplace operations, backend catalog management, or a similar role
  • Hands-on experience with Walmart, Target+, or Best Buy seller platforms strongly preferred
  • Working knowledge of SellerCloud, Shopify, or similar catalog and inventory management systems
  • Strong Excel / Google Sheets skills for inventory tracking and returns reporting
