Are you passionate about continuous improvement, operational excellence, and driving sustainable change? DHL Supply Chain is looking for an experienced OMS Advisor to support the implementation and long-term sustainability of our Operations Management System (OMS) across the country.

This is more than a process improvement role. As an OMS Advisor, you will be a change agent, coach, and business partner who enables site leadership teams to adopt standardized OMS practices, strengthen operational capabilities, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

Your Impact as OMS Advisor

🔹 OMS Implementation Leadership

Engagement & Training

• • Conduct OMS training and coaching sessions for site champions and leadership teams.
  • Train operational teams on OMS, Quality, Safety, and HR requirements.
  • Ensure all stakeholders clearly understand their roles and responsibilities during OMS implementation.
  • Align site teams on OMS infrastructure requirements, including organization structures, documentation standards, layouts, and technology needs.
  • Build leadership capability to sustain OMS practices and continuous improvement initiatives.

Performance Management

• • Partner with site leaders and OMS champions to review operational performance.
  • Identify productivity, efficiency, and capacity utilization improvement opportunities.
  • Develop and support action plans to drive operational excellence.
  • Provide hands-on coaching to ensure effective application of OMS principles and standards.

🔹 OMS Infrastructure & Culture Development

System Implementation

• • Support the development and deployment of OMS standards, processes, and infrastructure across sites.
  • Assist management teams in reviewing organization structures and span of control to support OMS implementation.
  • Ensure OMS requirements are incorporated into site operations and business processes.

Capability Building

• • Support the rollout and sustainability of Excellence School programs across the country.
  • Develop training facilities, identify trainers, and build internal capability.
  • Support leadership development initiatives that strengthen operational effectiveness.

Cultural Transformation

• • Drive OMS culture adoption through coaching, mentoring, and leadership engagement.
  • Act as a role model for continuous improvement and operational discipline.
  • Support OMS implementation during new site start-ups, integrations, and business expansions.
  • Customize training programs to meet local operational needs while maintaining company standards.

🔹 OMS Governance & Continuous Improvement

Implementation Oversight

• • Build business cases to support OMS implementation initiatives.
  • Share best practices and success stories across sites to accelerate OMS maturity and adoption.
  • Maintain governance and visibility of OMS implementation plans and progress.

Progress Monitoring

• • Track OMS implementation progress and milestone achievement.
  • Analyze performance, implementation, and standardization data.
  • Conduct regular reviews with site leadership teams and provide updates to country management.

Issue Resolution

• • Identify and resolve implementation challenges related to infrastructure, processes, behaviors, and culture.
  • Partner with country OMS leadership to remove barriers and implement effective solutions.
  • Provide recommendations that improve implementation effectiveness and long-term sustainability.

What We're Looking For

We are seeking a highly motivated operational excellence professional with strong coaching, influencing, and continuous improvement capabilities.

Education & Qualifications

✅ Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Operations Management, Business, or a related field

✅ Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification is highly desirable

✅ LEAN certification is an advantage

Experience

✅ Strong operational experience within Supply Chain, Logistics, Contract Logistics, Manufacturing, or Distribution environments

✅ Experience in Performance Management, Productivity Improvement, and Continuous Improvement methodologies

✅ Proven experience working in operational environments and driving sustainable change

✅ Experience supporting operational transformation, process standardization, or OMS/LEAN deployment initiatives

✅ Experience collaborating with Operations Managers and leadership teams across multiple sites

✅ Experience coaching leaders and frontline teams on operational excellence principles
