Position Summary
The On-Premise manager is responsible for building brand presence, driving sales volume, and securing new distribution within a defined account universe of influential and high-volume accounts. This role serves as the face of the company in retail and On-Premise accounts and success is defined as- opening new accounts, executing marketing programs, maintaining strong customer relationships, and ensuring exceptional retail execution for all brands represented.
Key Responsibilities
Account Management & Sales Execution
- Manage a defined territory of On-Premise accounts, achieving monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Build and maintain relationships with key retailers, bar managers, and distributor sales teams.
- Present and sell new product placements, displays to grow distribution and visibility.
- Execute promotional events, tastings, and product samplings to drive consumer awareness.
- Collaborate with distributors to ensure proper inventory, timely deliveries, and execution of programs.
- A small amount of work supporting off premise accounts may also be required as part of this role.
Market Development & Activation
- Identify and open new accounts aligned with brand strategy and target demographics.
- Support On-Premise activation plans including events, sponsorships, and seasonal programming.
- Collect and report competitive insights, pricing information, and market trends.
- Leverage data tools (VIP, KARMA) to analyze performance and track progress.
Brand Representation
- Serve as a brand ambassador, upholding company values and maintaining a professional image in the trade.
- Educate retailers and staff on product knowledge, brand story, and selling points.
- Ensure POS materials and displays reflect current marketing campaigns.
Qualifications
• 1–3 years of beverage alcohol experience
• Strong understanding of On-Premise retail environment
• Excellent interpersonal, presentation, sales, and negotiation skills
• Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with sales reporting tools preferred
• Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Willingness to work evenings and weekends as required for events and promotions
