Keep crews moving. Keep the job on track.

We’re looking for a dependable, safety-focused On-Site Shuttle Driver to support daily operations on an active construction site in Abilene, TX. If you take pride in safe driving, staying organized, and playing a key role behind the scenes, this is a great opportunity to be part of a fast-paced project environment.

Schedule: Split shift — approximately 1–2 hours each morning and 1–2 hours each afternoon, Monday through Saturday (20–30 hours/week)
Location: Abilene, TX
Compensation: $20–$28/hour

About the Role

As an On-Site Shuttle Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient transport of installation crews across the jobsite. You’ll work closely with site leadership to ensure crews arrive on time, routes are followed correctly, and safety standards are upheld at all times.

This role is critical to maintaining daily productivity and ensuring smooth coordination across shifting work areas.

What You’ll Do

Transport Crews Safely and Efficiently

You’ll be responsible for keeping technicians moving safely and on schedule.

  • Transport crews between the laydown yard and assigned work areas at shift start and end
  • Follow all site traffic routes, speed limits, and pedestrian safety protocols
  • Coordinate daily with the Project Manager, superintendent, and foremen on schedules and adjustments
  • Enforce seatbelt use and passenger limits on every trip
  • Adjust routes and timing as work areas change throughout the project

Maintain Vehicle Readiness

You’ll ensure the company-provided vehicle remains safe, clean, and operational.

  • Perform and document daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections
  • Monitor fuel, fluid levels, tire condition, and overall vehicle performance
  • Keep the vehicle clean, organized, and free of debris
  • Report maintenance needs, incidents, or damage immediately

Support Site Safety Standards

You’ll play a key role in maintaining a safe jobsite environment.

  • Comply with all PPE requirements and site-specific safety protocols
  • Complete site orientation and badging prior to starting
  • Report any incidents, near misses, or unsafe conditions promptly

What You Bring

  • Valid driver’s license with a clean motor vehicle record (subject to insurance approval)
  • Ability to pass a 10-panel drug screen and background check
  • Meets minimum age requirements per company insurance guidelines
  • Strong reliability, communication, and attention to safety

Preferred:

  • Experience operating 12–15 passenger vans, shuttles, or crew transport vehicles
  • Experience working on active construction sites
  • OSHA 10 Construction certification (or willingness to complete upon hire; training provided)

Why This Role

This is a great opportunity to work in a flexible, part-time role while contributing to a high-impact construction project. You’ll be trusted with keeping crews safe, schedules on track, and operations running smoothly—all while working with a team that values safety, accountability, and reliability.
