On-Site Tech Manager (Seasonal)
The On-Site Tech Manager is responsible for leading the show technology team for Dazzling Nights Orlando throughout the run of show, providing daily direction, training, and support to AV Technicians and Show Control Systems Techs. Additionally, this role is responsible for Show Systems Integration during the pre-show installation period as well as leading the technical dismantle and storage function upon conclusion of the show period.
Success in this role requires calm and decisive leadership attributes, excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate clearly and consistently with both technical and non-technical team members.
This is a SEASONAL position with an expected start date on or around September 28th and end date on or around January 15th.

Key Responsibilities
Install and Dismantle Periods (Mid-October to Mid-November; Early January)
- Serves as the Show Systems Integrator during load-in, connecting fixtures to their power and data sources across the site
- Captures redlines and as-built changes so documentation reflects what was actually deployed on site
- Leads the tech portion of dismantle, confirming all equipment is accounted for, properly packed, and documented for storage or repair
Run of Show Period (Mid-November to Early January)
- leads the show technology team during the run of show, providing daily direction, training, and support to AV Technicians and Show Control Systems Techs while upholding Memoir quality and guest service standards
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Deep understanding of technical show production including audio, lighting, and effects, and their protocols including DMX, sACN, Art-Net, MIDI, and timecode
- Working knowledge of networked show control systems and basic IP networking
- Ability to read and work from technical documentation such as patch lists, signal flow diagrams, and power plots, and to capture accurate redlines.
- 2-4 years of live event, concert, or themed entertainment experience, with at least 1 year leading a technical team or crew
- Proven ability to troubleshoot power distribution and signal flow issues independently and under time pressure
- Ability to complete physically demanding tasks, such as standing and/or walking for long periods of time
- Ability to work outside in various weather conditions (heat, rain, cold temperatures)
- Ability to lift objects up to 50 lbs. Reasonable accommodations will be made to allow differently-abled individuals to perform the essential functions of the job.

- Staff provide their own attire, with approval (black pants & shirts are recommended. Closed toe shoes are required at all times)
Work Environment & Schedule
- Full-time Seasonal role (40+ hours per week, for a duration of 14-16 weeks).
- Work on-site required during event dates, preview and post-production. Office/Warehouse environment prior during pre-production prior to Installation beginning mid-October.
- Evening, weekend, and extended on-site commitments are expected during installation, rehearsals, event operations and dismantle.
- Work will occur primarily at event location consisting of outdoor site environments, including active construction or production settings.
Compensation & Benefits
- Starting Rate of Pay $35.00-40.00 per hour
