Nature of Work

This role manages the end-to-end pre-employment onboarding process, ensuring all required documentation and activities are completed timely and efficiently while delivering a positive employee experience from day one.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Coordinate all pre-employment onboarding activities
  • Serve as the central liaison between jobsites, payroll, IT, and TA, HRBP and Benefits
  • Act as the primary point of contact for new hires prior to their start date
  • Initiate and monitor drug screens and background checks to completion
  • Ensure completion of I‑9s and E‑Verify in a compliant and timely manner
  • Point person for internal transfers – offer letter and onboarding documents
  • Partner with HR, IT, and hiring managers to ensure timely system access
  • Track onboarding progress and follow up on outstanding tasks or requirements, escalate when needed.
  • Promote company culture, values, and policies throughout the onboarding process
  • Maintain accurate onboarding records and reporting metrics
  • New hire announcements at Center
  • Other projects/duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Experience with UKG preferred
  • Ability to perform work accurately and completely, and in a timely manner.
  • Customer-service mindset with strong interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of general practices across the HR spectrum.
  • High degree of adaptability, problem-solving skills, independent work-direction, with initiative to prioritize and manage high volume workflow.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform detail-oriented work with a high level of accuracy.
  • Process oriented mindset
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills.
  • Critical thinking skills and ability to interpret HR policies and procedures to complete assigned tasks.
  • Ability to work effectively and proactively both in a team as well as independently.
  • Solid proficiency in MS Office Suite.

Education

  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college/university or equivalent experience.

Experience

  • 2+ years or more of related work experience preferred

Physical Demands and Working Environment

  • Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds
  • May require periods of overnight travel
  • Normal office environment
  • Frequent activity: Sitting, Viewing Computer Screen
  • Occasional activity: Standing, Walking, Bending, Reaching above Shoulder
