What you’ll do

  • Analyze DeFi protocols end-to-end: read smart contracts, map fee structures and token flows
  • Build and maintain dbt models across a four-layer data pipeline
  • Develop chain-level data infrastructure including normalized transaction tables and price feeds
  • Investigate and resolve data issues by tracing metrics through the pipeline
  • Write and maintain public, auditable methodology documentation
  • Support commercial and product teams with data analysis and custom datasets

What we’re looking for

  • 2+ years working with SQL in production analytics or data engineering
  • Understanding of how DeFi protocols work and generate revenue
  • Ability to read smart contracts to understand events and value flows
  • Clear written communication for institutional audiences
  • Curiosity about protocols and a self-directed approach to work
  • Comfortable with ambiguous, messy onchain data
  • A track record of owning data quality problems end-to-end
  • Experience working in small, remote teams

Data stack

Node.js and Go, dbt and BigQuery, ClickHouse, Google Cloud with Kubernetes, GitHub, Slack, Notion.
