About the role
The Instrument and Control Engineer position will ensure pragmatic solutions are implemented for management of risk, production efficiency, plant reliability, defect elimination and engineering standardization, related to instrumented protective systems, process control systems and telecommunications systems, in support of safe, reliable, and compliant operations.

Minimum Requirements
Working toward bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, mechanical or chemical engineering or closely related discipline
Must have cumulative and major GPA of 3.0 or higher
Eligible to work in the U.S. with no restrictions (bp will not support U.S. Immigration sponsorship for full-time or long-term employment)
Must be in final year, graduating from December 2026 through May 2027 or graduated in the last 3 years.
Must be available to start on agreed upon global program start dates (January 19, 2027 or June 21, 2027).
