One-On-One Direct Care Specialist-Part Time
We are seeking three Part-Time One-On-One Direct Care Specialists to provide individualized support to one foster child (ages 3-18) with behavioral challenges in one of our group homes located in Glendale, Peoria, Surprise, Avondale, and Phoenix. This role is designed to provide consistent, one-on-one care and support to help the child succeed in a structured, therapeutic environment.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing one-on-one supervision and support throughout the shift.
- Building a positive, trusting relationship while using trauma-informed care and behavior management techniques.
- Assisting with daily living activities and personal care as needed.
- Providing transportation to appointments, school, and community activities.
- Planning and participating in enrichment and recreational activities.
- Supporting emotional regulation and implementing behavior support strategies.
- Accurately documenting behaviors and significant events.
- Collaborating with the treatment team and house staff to ensure consistency in the child's care.
Schedule Options:
Monday - Friday anything between 3:00PM- 9:00PM
Saturday - Sunday anything between 8:00am-9:00pm
Pay:
$20 per hour
