One-on-One Tutor — Waseca Junior High School
Schedule: 2:09–2:55 p.m.
5 days per week
Waseca Junior High School is seeking a tutor to provide individualized instruction for a seventh-grade student. Instruction will begin with math skills and adjust based on the student's needs.
Responsibilities:
- Provide explicit, systematic instruction using evidence-based practices.
- Collaborate with the classroom teacher to align tutoring with the student's learning needs.
- Monitor progress and adjust instruction accordingly.
- Build a positive, encouraging relationship that supports confidence and engagement.
Qualifications:
- Must be certified/qualified to teach math
- Experience supporting junior high students and providing math intervention preferred
- Strong communication skills, patience, and reliability
Salary:
$18.15/hour - Entry level/base rate for candidates meeting the minimum required qualifications.
$40.72/hour - Premium rate for candidates who hold an active, teaching license.
