About the Role

The Planning & Reporting Engineer will be responsible for developing, monitoring, and analyzing project schedules and producing accurate project reports on progress, deadlines, and key performance indicators.

The role will provide project management with a reliable and consolidated view of project progress to support effective decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

Planning & Scheduling

• Develop and maintain project schedules from Level 1 to Level 4.
• Define schedule structures, including WBS, milestones, and interfaces.
• Consolidate schedules from different disciplines and contractors.
• Identify critical paths, float, and potential delay risks.
• Propose schedule optimization and catch-up scenarios.

Progress Tracking

• Collect, analyze, and integrate actual physical progress data.
• Update schedules and completion forecasts weekly.
• Analyze baseline vs. actual vs. forecast variances and identify their causes.

Reporting

Prepare weekly and monthly reports covering:

• Planning progress
• Key milestones
• Performance indicators (KPIs)
• Alerts and critical issues
• Provide reporting inputs for overall integrated project planning.
• Support reporting to Project and LBU management and project partners.
• Ensure the consistency and reliability of project data.

Coordination & Interfaces

• Work closely with Project Control, Cost Control, technical teams, EPC contractors, and project management.
• Participate in planning, coordination, and project review meetings.
• Apply project planning and reporting procedures and standards.
• Proactively recommend improvements to planning methods and tools.

Requirements

• Experience in oil and gas multidisciplinary project execution and interfaces.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6.
• Proficiency in Power BI or other Business Intelligence tools.
• Strong analytical and synthesis skills.
• Proactive approach and constructive critical-thinking abilities.
