JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Ticket Operations & Marketing Coordinator handles the day-to-day execution and coordination across ticket sales and marketing operations to drive revenue and deliver a great fan experience. This position will organize the outside events calendar and support event execution. They will also be responsible for supporting the theme night and special event execution for all games.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Support the planning and and execution of theme nights from concept through in-game delivery, including coordinating logistics, promotional elements, and in-arena activations.
- Serves as the primary point of contact for suite bookings and food voucher programs, working directly with arena staff to coordinate ticket delivery, catering orders, and digital voucher distribution to ensure a smooth experience for all guests.
- Create ticket pack links across sales platforms, fulfill orders, and coordinate with the Marketing Manager to choose items.
- Assist the Ticketing departments with CRM database management for season ticket holders, single seat ticket holders, and potential leads.
- Research and identify events in the community to participate in that drive brand recognition and ticket sales. Support the logistics and the execution of the events.
- Support miscellaneous initiatives as the departments needs arise throughout the season such as season ticket holder initiatives, gifts, events, and collateral.
SPECIFIC JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY:
The Ticket Operations & Marketing Coordinator must possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities and be able to explain and demonstrate that he or she can perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation, using some other combination of skill and abilities:
- Excellent customer service skills with a strong work ethic
- Ability to create positive and strong working relationships
- Assertive, persistent and results oriented with the ability to multitask
- Ability to thrive in a competitive sales environment
- Effective written and communication skills and display an excellent phone presence
- Knowledge of computer programs such as Microsoft Word and Outlook. Ability to learn required business systems
- Knowledge of ticketing software preferred.
- Flexible hours required: working evenings/nights, weekends and holidays as needed
QUALIFICATION STANDARDS:
Education:
- High School Diploma or its equivalency (BA/BS Degree Preferred)
Experience:
- 2-4 years related work experience
- Experience in customer service
- Experience and interest in the sports and entertainment industry preferred
Payscale: $19.50 - $23.00
Bonus: This position is not eligible for a bonus under the current bonus plan requirements.
