Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Ontology Specialist with strong expertise in Enterprise Ontology, Knowledge Graphs and Semantic Data Modelling.
The candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing enterprise ontologies and knowledge graphs to connect business data across product engineering, manufacturing, supply chain and operations.
The role involves building semantic models, integrating data using Python, PySpark and SQL, and enabling AI-driven applications using GraphRAG, Azure OpenAI, LLMs and vector databases.
The candidate should have strong hands-on experience in RDF, OWL, SPARQL, SHACL, Neo4j and semantic architecture.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement enterprise ontologies and knowledge graphs.
- Develop semantic models, taxonomies, graph schemas and controlled vocabularies.
- Integrate structured and unstructured data using Python, PySpark and SQL.
- Work on graph databases such as Neo4j and develop queries using SPARQL, Cypher and Gremlin.
- Integrate knowledge graphs with Azure OpenAI, Copilot and LLM-based applications.
- Implement GraphRAG, hybrid retrieval and semantic search capabilities.
- Establish ontology governance, metadata management, data lineage and version control.
- Collaborate with Data Engineering, Data Architecture, AI and business teams.
- Optimize graph performance, indexing and query execution.
