Job Description

We are looking for an experienced OpenShift Administrator with strong hands-on expertise in managing, maintaining and troubleshooting enterprise OpenShift and Kubernetes environments.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong experience in OpenShift cluster administration, installation, configuration, upgrades, maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Hands-on expertise in Kubernetes, Pods, cluster management and LinuxOpenShift integration.
• Strong Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) administration, including installation, migration, troubleshooting, performance monitoring and user management.
• Experience with Ansible automation and configuration management.
• Knowledge of LVM, SAN storage administration and OS-storage integration.
• Experience working with VMware and Microsoft Azure environments.
• Strong understanding of enterprise container platforms and hybrid cloud infrastructure.
• Ability to handle production issues, Linux break-fix activities and critical infrastructure incidents.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, administer and maintain OpenShift clusters.
• Perform cluster upgrades, patching, monitoring and troubleshooting.
• Manage Kubernetes workloads, Pods, nodes and cluster resources.
• Troubleshoot Linux and OpenShift infrastructure-related issues.
• Automate infrastructure and operational activities using Ansible.
• Manage storage configurations, LVM and SAN integration.
• Support VMware and Azure-based infrastructure environments.
• Perform infrastructure assessments covering hardware, software, scalability, storage and security.
• Ensure high availability, performance and reliability of business-critical enterprise environments.

Good to Have

• Red Hat Certified Specialist in OpenShift Administration (EX280) or equivalent.
• RHCSA / RHCE certification.
• Kubernetes or container platform certifications.
• Experience with hybrid cloud and on-premises OpenShift environments.
• Knowledge of OpenShift operational best practices.
