Operation Analyst (Metals) - Contract
Summary
Manage the full operational cycle for dry bulk metals/ore shipments—from vessel nomination and shipping documentation to P&L reconciliation and claims handling—in a contract role based in Singapore.
Full ownership of the operational cycle for dry bulk shipments, from vessel nomination through to final settlement
Manage end-to-end shipment execution: laycan/vessel nomination, chartering liaison, loading/discharge coordination for dry bulk cargoes, including ore/mineral shipments
Prepare and review shipping documents (B/L, COA, COO, insurance certs)
Monitor demurrage/despatch calculations and disputes
Coordinate with surveyors, agents, freight forwarders, and terminal operators
Track LC/payment terms and liaise with trade finance
Interface with traders, freight desk, and finance on P&L reconciliation
Handle claims (quality/quantity discrepancies) where they arise
