Operation Executive
Summary
Oversee maritime shipping operations, including voyage planning, charter compliance, and performance monitoring for dry bulk vessels while ensuring regulatory adherence and cost efficiency.
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Dry Bulk operations professional. The successful candidate will be responsible for end-to-end voyage execution, operational efficiency in line with global sustainability goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the full operational lifecycle of assigned vessels, ensuring high-quality service delivery and adherence to all charter party terms (Time Charter, Voyage Charter, and COA).
Conduct voyage planning including fuel consumption analysis, appointing agents and giving voyage instructions Collaborate with weather routing services to ensure safe and efficient passage.
Act as the primary point of contact for ship owners, charterers, brokers, and port agents to ensure seamless communication and dispute resolution.
Manage post-fixture duties including laytime negotiations, hire statements, and freight invoicing.
Monitor P&L, voyage expenses, and vessel performance metrics.
Monitor vessel speed and consumption data. Implement countermeasures for performance deterioration and ensure compliance with IMO regulations and RightShip standards.
Tracking/sending port arrival notices (ETA Notices) or Delivery Notices
Verification and follow-up of travel instructions at loading and unloading
Follow-up of the trip and management of all the obligations in the contract/CP and problems that may arise during the trip
Management of potential disputes and the closing of contracts with counterparties (Laytimes, Claims, etc.)
Invoicing/brokerage commission
Qualifications:
Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Maritime Studies, Shipping Management, or a related field.
Fresh Graduates are welcome.
In-depth knowledge of dry bulk shipping operations, including chartering, vessel operations, and port logistics.
Strong understanding of international maritime regulations and compliance requirements.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work under pressure and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
