Summary

The Operation Manager oversees daily business activities, ensures smooth workflow across departments, and drives operational excellence. This role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and hands‑on coordination to support organisational growth and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operational Oversight
    — Manage day‑to‑day operations to ensure consistent, efficient, and high‑quality performance.
  • Process Improvement
    — Analyse existing workflows, identify inefficiencies, and implement enhancements to optimise productivity.
  • Team Leadership
    — Supervise and mentor operational staff; set clear expectations and monitor performance.
  • Resource Management
    — Oversee manpower planning, scheduling, inventory control, and equipment utilisation.
  • Quality & Compliance
    — Ensure all operational activities meet internal standards, regulatory requirements, and safety guidelines.
  • Performance Tracking
    — Monitor KPIs, prepare operational reports, and present insights to senior management.
  • Vendor & Stakeholder Coordination
    — Work closely with suppliers, contractors, and partners to maintain seamless operational support.
  • Risk Management
    — Identify potential operational risks and implement preventive or corrective measures.
  • Budget & Cost Control
    — Support budgeting processes and manage operational expenses effectively.
  • Project Execution
    — Lead or assist in operational projects, new initiatives, and business expansions.

Requirements

  • Diploma/Degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field.
  • 1 - 5 years of experience in operations or managerial roles.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to manage teams and coordinate cross‑departmental activities.
  • Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in workflow optimisation and resource planning.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
  • Knowledge of industry regulations and safety standards.
