OPERATION MANAGER

Role & responsibilities

• Operational Strategy: Create and implement strategies for the NBFC division, aligning with financial goals, best practices, and regulations.
  
• Process Improvement: Enhance loan origination, disbursement, collections, and repayments to boost efficiency and reduce errors.
  
• Compliance Management: Ensure adherence to NBFC regulations from the RBI and other bodies, staying updated on regulatory changes.
  
• Team Leadership: Train and mentor operations staff, promoting collaboration and high productivity.
  
• Loan Management: Oversee loan processing and collections to minimize risk and maintain portfolio health.
  
• Risk Assessment: Identify and mitigate operational and financial risks, implementing controls to protect assets.
  
• Customer Service: Maintain high standards of customer service, addressing grievances and improving satisfaction.
  
• Technology Use: Utilize fintech solutions to enhance operations and data management, collaborating with IT for upgrades.
  
• Financial Analytics: Track KPIs related to loans and customer service, reporting insights to management.
  
• Vendor Management: Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers for smooth operations.
  
• Standardization: Develop and maintain SOPs for consistency and compliance in operational processes.
  

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field. A Master’s or professional certifications (CFA, CA, or MBA) are a plus.
  
• 5-7 years of operations management experience, particularly in NBFCs, banking, or financial services.
  
• Extensive knowledge of NBFC operations, including loan products, risk management, and RBI regulations.
  
• Strong understanding of financial products like personal loans and asset-backed financing.
  
• Proven leadership and team management skills.
  
• Experience in process improvement, system integration, and operational strategy.
  
• Proficient in MS Office, financial software, and operations tools.
  
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
