Operation Manager

Core Responsibilities

  • Process Optimization: Improve operational systems, workflows, and best practices to reduce waste and increase productivity.
  • Budget & Financial Management: Manage departmental budgets, monitor financial data, and forecast expenses to promote profitability.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise, mentor, and train staff, setting clear key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Cross-Functional Coordination: Act as a bridge between frontline employees, department heads, and upper management.
  • Compliance & Safety: Ensure adherence to local regulations, health and safety standards, and company policies. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]

Key Requirements & Skills

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, operations management, supply chain, or a related field.
  • Experience: Proven track record (typically 2+ years) in an operations management or supervisory role.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong ability to interpret metrics, review financial reports, and solve workflow bottlenecks.
  • Communication: Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict-management abilities.
  • Technical Proficiency: Comfort with business productivity software, ERP systems, and data tracking tools.
