OPERATION MANAGER
Job Responsibilities
As an Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the business to ensure efficiency, productivity, and service excellence. - Manage and oversee daily operational activities to ensure smooth business operations.
- Project tendering
- Develop, implement, and improve operational processes, policies, and procedures.
- Monitor operational performance through KPIs and prepare regular management reports.
- Lead, coach, and supervise operational teams to achieve business objectives.
- Coordinate with cross-functional departments to ensure seamless workflow and effective communication.
- Manage budgets, operational costs, and resource allocation to maximize efficiency.
- Identify operational issues and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and health &safety standards.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction.
- Support strategic planning and execute operational projects assigned by senior management.
- Manage vendor and supplier relationships where applicable.
- Handle customer escalations and ensure timely resolution of operational matters.
Job Requirements
- Diploma in Building, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in scaffolding or construction operations.
- Strong knowledge of scaffolding systems, erection and dismantling procedures, and workplace safety requirements.
- Familiarity with Singapore's Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) regulations and relevant scaffolding standards.
- Ability to plan, coordinate, and manage multiple projects and site teams simultaneously.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Good problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to work independently and under pressure to meet project deadlines.
- A valid Class 3 driving licence is an advantage.
