Position Overview
We are seeking a highly organized, analytical, and proactive Operations Analyst to support our COO and operational leadership team. This role serves as a key business partner, providing operational reporting, performance analysis, project coordination, and administrative support across our ready-mix concrete, aggregate, and trucking operations.

What You'll Do
Operational Analysis & Reporting
- Analyze operational and production data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Prepare and distribute daily, weekly, monthly, and annual operational reports for executive leadership.
- Develop summaries and recommendations that support operational and strategic decision-making.
- Compile production, hours, and performance reports from multiple plant locations.
- Monitor fuel pricing trends and maintain daily fuel reporting.
- Audit fuel invoices, investigate discrepancies, and coordinate resolution with vendors.
- Review and evaluate returned concrete transactions and process adjustments in accordance with company guidelines.
- Maintain operational records and documentation to support reporting accuracy and compliance.
Executive & Project Support
- Partner directly with the COO to support key initiatives, projects, and operational priorities.
- Track project milestones, action items, and deliverables to ensure timely completion.
- Prepare presentations, correspondence, reports, and executive communications.
- Coordinate travel arrangements, expense reporting, and scheduling support for the COO.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for communications directed to the COO.
- Handle highly confidential business information with professionalism and discretion.
Operations Administration
- Coordinate vendor communications and purchasing activities, including company-wide safety vest and PPE programs.
- Maintain registrations and records for approximately 700 pieces of equipment and vehicles, including renewals, documentation, and compliance tracking.
- Collect, organize, and maintain operational records, delivery tickets, and related documentation.
- Support plant managers and operational leaders with administrative and reporting needs.
- Coordinate the creation of operational, safety, and facility signage.
- Assist with special projects and continuous improvement initiatives across the organization.
- Communicate with regulatory agencies regarding operational and development matters as needed.
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in operations, business analysis, reporting, project coordination, or a related role.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office Suite, and data management tools.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, Operations Management, Finance, Analytics, or a related field.
- Experience supporting executives or senior leadership.
- Experience in construction, ready-mix concrete, aggregates, trucking, manufacturing, logistics, or related industries.
- Experience with operational reporting, KPI tracking, and performance analysis.
- Vendor management and purchasing support experience.

Schedule & Work Environment
This is a full-time, on-site position in Newport Beach, CA. Standard workdays are Monday through Friday, with occasional evening or weekend work required based on business needs.
Travel: Occasional travel to company locations may be required.
