Operations Analyst

The Operations Analyst is responsible for supporting the implementation, optimization, and standardization of business processes across Air System Components' corporate offices and manufacturing facilities. This role serves as a key partner to operations, supply chain, manufacturing, engineering, quality, and IT teams in the deployment and continuous improvement of the MacPac ERP system. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical and project management skills with deep supply chain and ERP expertise to drive process consistency, improve operational efficiency, and support successful organizational change across multiple locations.

This is a remote role but based out of Plano, TX with 75% travel requirements

What You'll Do

  • Lead and support implementation of the MacPac ERP system across corporate offices and manufacturing plants, ensuring alignment with business objectives and operational requirements.
  • Develop, document, and standardize business processes related to material planning, scheduling, procurement, inventory management, logistics, and manufacturing operations.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams including Material Control, Systems Engineering, Quality, IT, Procurement, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain to identify opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiencies.
  • Facilitate phase-in and phase-out planning activities to support new product introductions and product transitions.
  • Analyze current business processes and implement technology-enabled solutions that improve consistency, visibility, and performance across the organization.
  • Develop and implement performance metrics, dashboards, and reporting tools to monitor process effectiveness and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Identify system, process, and data gaps and coordinate corrective actions to improve data integrity and operational performance.
  • Support data cleansing and system optimization efforts, including manufacturing orders, purchase orders, sales orders, inventory records, bill of materials, routings, shipments, receipts, and costing data.
  • Create and maintain process documentation, standard operating procedures, training materials, and user guides to ensure consistent execution across locations.
  • Deliver presentations, conduct training sessions, and support change management initiatives for business leaders, super users, and end users.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to establish best practices and ensure business processes support organizational goals.
  • Support custom system enhancements and reporting solutions based on evolving business needs, with a focus on supply chain, inventory management, supplier scheduling, and operational analytics.
  • Monitor compliance with established processes and proactively resolve data anomalies and operational issues across the supply chain network.
  • Travel to manufacturing facilities and corporate locations to facilitate training, implementation activities, and ongoing user support.

What We Look For

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business Administration, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in supply chain, operations, manufacturing, ERP implementation, or business process improvement roles.
  • Hands-on experience with ERP systems, preferably MacPac, including configuration, reporting, master data management, inventory control, procurement, manufacturing, and supply chain functions.
  • Strong understanding of material planning, production scheduling, inventory management, logistics, and supply chain processes within a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving system and data integrity issues.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to evaluate complex business processes and recommend effective solutions.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, as well as experience with reporting and data analysis tools.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to train users and influence stakeholders across multiple levels of the organization.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines and implementation objectives.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and commitment to continuous improvement.
  • Ability to travel up to 75% for onsite training, implementation, and operational support activities.
  • Direct experience implementing or supporting MacPac ERP systems in a manufacturing environment (preferred).
  • Experience with continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen (preferred).
  • Project management experience, including leading cross-functional implementation initiatives (preferred).
  • Experience supporting manufacturing operations in Mexico and familiarity with customs and cross-border supply chain processes (preferred).
  • ERP configuration experience and the ability to define system requirements, develop custom reports, and support process automation initiatives (preferred).
  • APICS certifications (CPIM or CSCP) or relevant project management certifications (preferred).
