Operations Analyst - Contract

About the Role

You will play a key role in supporting cash equity trading across GS businesses. You will gain hands-on experience in onboarding, configuration, cash processing, and allocation workflows, while collaborating closely with Business and Client Service teams. This role requires strong communication skills to engage effectively across Business, Technology, and Operations groups.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage client post-trade execution needs, including complex transaction requests, queries, and settlement activities with high accuracy.

  • Provide operational risk management and oversight for Futures sales and trading, ensuring integrity of firm records from trade capture to settlement.

  • Support infrastructure development by enhancing workflows, systems, and controls to meet client needs, internal standards, and regulatory requirements.

  • Drive change management discussions with Technology and Operations teams to streamline processes and assess downstream impacts.

  • Identify, document, and implement procedural improvements to strengthen control infrastructure and reference data management.

  • Enhance client experience by engineering solutions and leading operational change initiatives across global teams.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in Listed Derivatives (Futures & Options trade support, middle office, or cash processing).

  • Strong knowledge of Futures and Options industry and markets.

  • Experience managing suspense accounts to ensure timely trade allocation (T+0).

  • Familiarity with vendor platforms (e.g., GMI, Traiana) is an advantage.

  • Enthusiastic, proactive, and team-oriented with strong communication and relationship-building skills.

This is a 6 month renewable contract.
