Operations Analyst Power Generation

You will analyze power-plant data to improve generation performance, fuel use, maintenance planning, environmental compliance, and outage planning. You will create dashboards, AI tools, reports, metrics, automation, audits, and standardized processes that support plant leadership and operations.

Responsibilities

• Create AI tools and agents for analytics, execution planning, and issue detection
• Develop visual standards for work boards, JIRA queues, Power BI dashboards, and workflows
• Define plant metrics and dashboards for operational health
• Provide data insights for plant operations, outage planning, and continuous improvement
• Analyze data with SQL and other methods to identify trends
• Create reports, tools, and standardized operational metrics
• Identify workflow gaps with operations, maintenance, engineering, and environmental teams
• Develop automation to reduce operational risk and improve efficiency
• Conduct operations audits and enhance maintenance programs
• Analyze site-service contracts and roadmap improvements
• Standardize material, spare-parts, and procurement processes
• Align power-generation and operations teams across sites

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, supply chain, management information systems, computer science, or economics
• 2+ years of experience in operations, data analytics, consulting, production coordination, scheduling, or planning
