Operations Analyst

We are looking for an Operations Analyst that will handle the following:

• Coordinate port calls for ZIM vessels.
• Act as the focal point between terminals, pilots, tugs, and all service providers.
• Coordinate with local agencies to ensure all port-related activities are handled efficiently.
• Manage and update vessel schedules in company systems.
• Serve as the main communication channel with the vessel's command.
• Coordinate all necessary documentation with local authorities.
• Distribute special cargo manifests (IMO, Reefer) and other required certificates.
• Execute and monitor operational processes within the SAP system.
• Control and follow-up on port fee payments.
• Manage and authorize access for third-party service providers to vessels during port stay.
• Operate the ZIM MONITOR system, analyzing alerts and directing corrective actions.

Requirements

• Advanced English.
• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Foreign Trade, International Relations, or a related field.
• Proficiency in the Office 365 Suite, with an emphasis on Excel.
• Experience in an Operations department at a Shipping Line or as a Boarding Agent is a plus.
• Experience with the SAP system is a plus
