Operations and IT manager
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager with IT expertise to oversee daily marine operations, lead the operations team, and ensure efficient project execution within a well-established marine company in Singapore.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily marine operations to ensure smooth and compliant workflows
- Prepare detailed operational reports, work schedules, and performance updates for management review
- Coordinate with procurement, logistics, and finance departments to facilitate seamless project execution
- Liaise effectively with clients, suppliers, and port authorities to maintain strong business relationships
- Ensure strict compliance with safety regulations and company procedures to uphold operational standards
- Lead and supervise the operations team to achieve operational goals and enhance team performance
- Troubleshoot and maintain IT equipment, including printer setup, workstation maintenance, and peripheral installations
- Procure devices and track assets and equipment to maintain operational readiness and minimize downtime
- Diagnose equipment faults and ensure timely replacement of faulty devices to sustain operational efficiency
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Minimum 3–5 years of relevant working experience.
- Diploma or Degree in a relevant field
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and internet/email communication
- Able to set up the user accounts and profiles for the employees
- Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills demonstrated through managing teams and projects
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively
