Operations and Logistics Manager
Basic salary: S$6,000–S$7,000 per month
Employment type: Permanent
Location: WCEGA Plaza, Bukit Batok
Working hours: Monday–Friday, 9am–6pm
People Connects is recruiting an Operations and Logistics Manager for a hands-on international export role. You will coordinate distributor orders, factory readiness, shipping arrangements and export documentation.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate production readiness, dispatch dates and vessel schedules with the factory team in Korea.
- Manage freight bookings, container-loading coordination and export documentation.
- Liaise with freight forwarders, shipping partners and distributors to resolve shipment issues.
- Keep distributors updated on order progress and delivery arrangements.
- Maintain accurate order, inventory and shipment records in Odoo.
- Monitor freight costs, lead times and container utilisation.
- Coordinate required product-shipping documentation and improve operational processes.
Requirements
- Relevant experience in international logistics, export operations or freight forwarding, including sea freight.
- Familiarity with Incoterms, export documentation and customs processes.
- Good communication, organisation and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Excel and accurate ERP record-keeping.
- Experience with Odoo, manufacturer-side exports or chemical-product shipments is an advantage.
