OPERATIONS ASSOCIATE / ANALYST - GRADUATE POSITION
Job description
We are looking for junior team members to support our partners in all aspects of the business.
Blauwpark Partners is a ‘single-family office for multiple families’ of European heritage serving
high net worth families and individuals globally. As part of our team, you will focus on portfolio monitoring, compliance and policy documentation, and business and financial administration. From time to time, you may also be exposed to deal and investment work, including due diligence and client account management, with the aim of developing you into a capable operations-focused family office professional. You will have direct exposure to clients, fund managers and service providers, while working directly with the partners of the firm in an open, non-hierarchical team.
Role and responsibilities
You will manage the day-to-day operational and compliance needs within the family office,
alongside the relevant service providers, for the following responsibilities:
• Portfolio administration and reporting. Involved in the timely administration and reporting
of client and fund portfolios.
• Accounting, audit and administration. Lead, contribute or run the accounting and
administration of financial transactions, assist in the preparation of support internal and
external audits and regulatory inspections, and prepare and submit regulatory filings.
• Ongoing operational and compliance support. Complete day-to-day tasks and assist in
improving and monitoring of the firm’s compliance program. This includes monitoring
changes in regulatory requirements and ensuring internal policies are updated accordingly.
• Client onboarding, fund and investment entity setup. Support the setting up of new
investment entities for deals or clients, including overseeing the process of legal
documentation, preparing client materials and conducting client onboarding checks.
Skills and requirements
The position is open to recent or near-term university graduates for analysts, and working
professionals with at least 3 years working experience for associates, with an interest in
business analytics, accounting, finance and/or legal. We expect good working knowledge of
Microsoft Office and would value candidates with past experiences handling productivity
improvement tools. The title for the position will be dependent on complimentary skillset, with
regards to the role and responsibilities, and years of relevant experience of the candidate.
Deep experience in financial analysis is not a prerequisite, and we are open to professionals
with technical backgrounds with a good command of language. A willingness to learn and
contribute will be your most important asset.
