Summary

A part-time warehouse Operations Associate at Goodwill in Medford, OR handling donated goods: operating powerlifting equipment, loading/unloading trucks, sorting and processing materials, maintaining storage areas, and providing customer service. Works varying shifts including weekends.

The Operations associates are responsible for efficiently and safely operating a variety of powerlifting equipment in the warehouse environment to load and unload trucks and trailers, maintain totes and storage areas within the facility, and are responsible for accurately sorting, stocking, processing, baling, or disposing of the product or material.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Performs inventories, tallies, or other forms of tracking as required for the warehouse responsibilities.

  • Conducts general housekeeping functions, such as vacuuming, sweeping outside areas, dusting, and rest room maintenance.

  • Assists GoodWorks staff with implementation of work plans and guidelines as established for client programs, as assigned by store manager.

  • Works a variety of shifts including weekends as assigned.

  • Performs daily checks and maintenance on equipment.

  • Organizes totes and storage areas within the warehouse and outlying buildings.

  • Interacts effectively with customers by providing excellent customer service, resolving problems within the scope of the role to the customer’s satisfaction in a timely, effective, and respectful manner.

  • Supports maintaining organization within the warehouse.

  • Accurately sorts salvage materials into assigned containers.

  • Safely and correctly operates other departmental machinery as assigned.

  • Safeguards company property, including donated goods. Reports any incident of theft, fraud, waste, or unauthorized possession of company property.

  • Works intermittently without direct supervision.

  • Able to prioritize tasks and responsibilities to maintain an acceptable level of productivity.
