Operations Associate - The Bridge

Summary

Own the end-to-end operations for The Bridge’s London cohorts, from founder applications to arrival in San Francisco, while building scalable processes and tooling.

Salary: £42,000 - £47,000 dependent on experience + performance based bonuses paid twice per year.

About The Bridge
The Bridge is Entrepreneurs First San Francisco residency. It's a new product, therefore it's moving and growing fast. If you're into the earlier stage of a product, this might be your way in.

The role
You own the ops behind The Bridge in London, end to end. The Bridge runs four cohorts a year, two of them run by the London teams. You own the full talent cycle for those two, the summer and winter cohorts, from the day a founder applies to the day they land with us in San Francisco. You put the processes in place, keep them running long term, and work hand in hand with the summer and winter cohort teams in London and with the Bridge team in Paris that drives the content, strategy and growth.

This is a build role. The machine is young, and you get to shape how it runs.

What you'll do
  • Set up the processes that run the talent cycle, from application to arrival in SF, then maintain and scale them
  • Ship tooling for the team: automations, dashboards, and a clean stack (Attio, Notion, Make, Airtable, Claude Cowork/Code)
  • Improve what already exists and keep it sharp as we grow
  • Come up with and run new events to source and convert the best founders
  • Recruit our next cohort and own the funnel end to end
  • Build new partnerships with people across the ecosystem

What to expect: the pace is fast and the bar is high. We care about clarity and output over face time or polish. Keep it simple, keep it straight.

Requirements

Who we're looking for
From freshly graduated to 2-4 years of experience, coming from rising early-stage startups, scale-ups, tier-one VCs, or anywhere relevant to the ecosystem. You have a background in ops, growth, or software engineering. Ideally, you want to build your own company one day, and you're doing this to learn from the people operating at minus one, and to meet them there.

What matters most
  • High agency, a jack of all trades. You see what needs doing and do it. Nobody has to tell you twice, and no task is beneath you.
  • Self-motivated. You run your own race, set your own pace, and don't wait for direction.
  • Genuinely into the ecosystem. You'd rather spend your time around early-stage founders than VCs, and you understand how founders think.

You're strong on organisation, comfortable with both process and people, and a problem solver who thinks on their feet. Comfort with automation and AI coworking tools (Claude Cowork/Code) is a strong plus.
