Operations Associate, Transport & Facilities

Supports daily transport and facility operations at a residential care center, driving residents to appointments and maintaining clean, safe premises.
Job Role Summary:
As an Operations Associate, Transport & Facilities, you will support the smooth daily operations related to both transportation and facility management within the Residential Care Centre. This dual role requires ensuring safe and timely transport services for residents, as well as maintaining a clean, safe, and functional environment. You will liaise with vendors, assist residents, monitor equipment, and perform routine upkeep tasks to enhance overall resident care experience.
You will need to:
Transport Duties:
- Operate transport vehicles to safely ferry residents to medical appointments, homes, and other locations
- Assist residents during boarding and alighting, especially those with mobility challenges
- Conduct vehicle safety checks before and after trips and maintain vehicle cleanliness
- Follow transport schedules and report any issues promptly
- Support resident escorting during outings or medical visits as required
Facilities Duties:
- Perform routine checks on premises to ensure cleanliness, safety, and equipment functionality
- Assist with minor maintenance tasks such as replacing bulbs or reporting repair needs
- Coordinate with vendors for cleaning, pest control, and waste management services
- Support preventive maintenance and safety compliance activities
- Assist with setup and logistics for events or operational needs
Qualifications and Requirements
You should:
- Have a minimum of Primary School education or equivalent
- Possess a valid Class 3/3A Singapore driving license with a clean driving record
- Be physically fit to assist residents with mobility challenges and perform manual tasks Communicate effectively in basic English and preferably a local dialect
- Demonstrate responsibility, reliability, and a strong service orientation
It would be great if you:
- Are certified in CPR/First Aid or willing to be trained
- Have prior experience in eldercare transport or facilities management
- Are familiar with basic building systems and workplace safety practices
- Are willing to work weekends or shifts as needed
- Possess good teamwork and interpersonal skills
