Assists with campus programming, space management, and student engagement by maintaining calendars, tracking attendance, and supporting office operations.

DEPARTMENT Office of Belonging and Inclusion

REPORTS TO Brooklyn Modestita, bmodestita@babson.edu

PAY RATE $15/hr

THE OPPORTUNITY

Supports the operational systems, logistics, and physical spaces that support programming and student engagement.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Program Logistics & Tracking

  • Maintain and update the office’s weekly programming calendar
  • Submit the food order form for weekly community conversations
  • Track Community Conversation attendance and manage RISE Leader program budget records
  • Maintain accurate program documentation (e.g., spreadsheets)

Space & Resource Management

  • Ensure shared spaces are clean, organized, and functional (Chapel & Diversity Suite)
  • Report on maintenance or IT issues as needed
  • Update program/event boards with current materials

Flyer Distribution & Visibility

  • Print and distribute flyers across campus
  • Ensure physical promotional materials are current and visible

Cultural Calendar & Coordination

  • Develop and maintain a cultural and religious calendar
  • Notify the team of upcoming observances
  • Coordinate timing with Marketing for promotions

Office Presence & Student Support

  • Hold office hours and provide front-facing support
  • Assist visitors and direct them to appropriate resources
  • Support student organizations with funding processes (e.g. P-card appointments)
  • Help streamline communication between student groups and staff

Additional Duties

  • Support office events and initiatives
  • Facilitate community conversations as needed
  • Assume additional responsibilities as required.
