About the role
The Map Operations Coordinator will manage geospatial data and support map operations across the organization. This role involves maintaining data accuracy, optimizing processes, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance map features and functionality.
Key responsibilities
Maintain and manage geospatial data
Provide detailed reports and data analysis as needed
Create and implement processes to optimize map data
Assist in the development and integration of new map features
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve common goals
Ensure accuracy of map data through regular audits and quality controls
Troubleshoot any issues related to map data and provide timely solutions
Qualification:
Bachelor's degree in Geography, GIS, Geoinformatics, or a related field
Proficiency in GIS software (e.g., ArcGIS, QGIS)
Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills
Able to work well within a team and communicate effectively with other departments
Good English proficiency in both reading and communication, enabling effective collaboration with international teams through email exchanges and periodic internal meetings
Able to drive a car and possess a valid driver's license
Knowledge of SQL and Python will be considered an advantage
