Job Type: Full-time, Temporary on going (opportunity to go permanent)

Pay: £13.96
Working Hours: 8.5-hour shifts between 7:00am and 6:00pm, including a 1-hour unpaid lunch break

TeamJobs are recruiting for a Service Operations Coordinator to join a busy and growing team supporting Electric Vehicle Infrastructure (EVI) customers.

This is a varied coordination and administration role, where you will be responsible for managing faults and incidents, coordinating engineer attendance and ensuring customers are kept up to date throughout the process.

The role:

  • Coordinating and managing EV infrastructure faults and incidents
  • Dispatching and scheduling Field Service Engineers
  • Prioritising engineer workloads and responding to urgent faults
  • Keeping internal systems updated with the latest fault information
  • Chasing engineers for updates and attendance details
  • Communicating with customers and providing progress updates
  • Working to agreed Service Level Agreements
  • Monitoring fault management systems and interfaces
  • Supporting the implementation of new EV infrastructure customers and processes
  • Attending customer meetings where required
  • Maintaining up-to-date contract and customer documentation
  • Escalating issues where necessary and taking ownership of incidents through to completion

What we are looking for:

  • Previous administration, coordination or customer service experience
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Good IT skills, including Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
  • A proactive and positive approach to problem-solving
  • Ability to build strong relationships with colleagues, engineers and customers
  • Confidence working independently and managing tasks through to completion

Experience within EV infrastructure or a technical environment would be beneficial, but is not essential.

Location and hybrid working

The role will initially be based in Poole, before relocating to the Bournemouth Airport area from October 2026.

For the first six months, the role will be fully office-based whilst training is completed. Following successful completion of training, there will be the opportunity to work on a hybrid basis, with three shifts per week based in the office.

Please note: Due to the shift times and future location, candidates must be able to reliably travel to the Bournemouth Airport site without relying on public transport.

If you are an organised and proactive coordinator looking for a varied role within the growing electric vehicle infrastructure sector, we would love to hear from you!
