Operations Director cum Manager

Supply Chain Oversight: Coordinate the entire order cycle, from procurement and manufacturing to final distribution.

Transportation & Freight: Strategically research and plan routes, negotiate contracts with carriers and suppliers, and oversee inbound and outbound shipments.

Inventory & Warehouse Management: Monitor inventory levels, ensure warehouse organization and safety, and control storage processes.

Budget & Cost Control: Manage logistical expenses, calculate shipping costs, and ensure operations stay within budget.

Data Analysis & Compliance: Evaluate key performance metrics to optimize operations and ensure full compliance with international trade laws and safety regulations.

Team Leadership: Hire, train, and manage warehouse staff and logistics coordinators.

  • In Addition that need to handle bellow responsibilitues
    1. Drive Warehouse Operations
  • • Plan end-to-end logistics and fulfilment services to business units within the company.
  • • Plan and review warehouse storage and layout plans
  • • Ensure safe operations and maintenance of all warehouse Material Handling Equipment e.g. Forklift, Reach Truckers, Stacker Cranes, lifting platforms etc.
  • • Determine warehouse storage system strategy using knowledge of changes in conditions, operations and the environment and its impact to outcomes
  • • Manage and review warehouse operations through application of supply chain and business management principles
  • • Develop warehouse operations performance goals using quality management knowledge
  • • Plan resource within business activities
  • • Manage the performance level and ensure serviceability of warehouse equipment and storage systems e.g. Automatic Retrieval Systems, Vertical Carousels and racks
  • • Responsible for accurate maintenance of stock and inventory records relating to stock issue, transfer, amendment, freight, and delivery
  • Manage stock levels, delivery schedules, and delivery costs to ensure efficient inventory flow
  • Coordinate and monitor the order cycle of deliveries from origin to consumption
  • Oversee inbound and outbound shipments, including transportation documentation and tracking
  • Use logistics software and IT systems to streamline operations and analyze performance data
  • Evaluate delivery performance quality and identify areas for operational improvement
  • Manage supply chain resources, assess their effectiveness, and recommend optimization solutions
  • Negotiate with suppliers, retailers, manufacturers, and customers to secure favorable terms
  • Oversee warehouse operations including receipt, storage, picking, packing, and shipping procedures
  • Balance demand management with capacity constraints to optimize resource utilization
  • Process shipments and manage international import and export operations
  • Schedule operational tasks and coordinate logistics activities across multiple departments
  • Supervise, manage, and train logistics team members and warehouse staff
  • Analyze budgets, calculate costs, and manage supply-related expenses
  • Handle customer service requests and resolve supply chain disruptions promptly
  • Research and implement technology solutions to reduce carbon footprint and improve sustainability
  • Develop long-term strategic plans for logistics improvements and efficiency gains

Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Management, or related field

Minimum 20 years of experience in operations engineering, supply chain management, operations analysis, or related field

Strong proficiency with logistics software, warehouse management systems, and supply chain technology platforms

Excellent organizational skills with ability to coordinate multiple logistics functions simultaneously

Strong analytical skills to read and interpret data, recognize trends, and anticipate challenges

Advanced mathematical skills for calculating costs, analyzing budgets, and managing expenses

Comprehensive understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes and how components interconnect

Excellent problem-solving abilities to identify inefficiencies and implement solutions

Strong communication and interpersonal skills for coordinating with internal and external stakeholders
