Operations Executive
JOB DESCRIPTIONS
1. Operational & Site Supervision
Daily Site Oversight: Partner closely with the Operations Manager to supervise and manage day-to-day campus facilities and site operations.
Manpower & Scheduling: Plan, organize, and deploy operational staff effectively to cover school activities, events, and daily maintenance needs.
Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and guide junior officers and support staff to ensure high standards of work performance and safety.
2. Maintenance, Repairs & Contractor Management
Handy Repairs: Perform basic, minor repair work around the premises to address immediate maintenance issues promptly.
Fault Identification: Conduct regular inspections across school grounds to identify safety hazards, building defects, or equipment faults, ensuring the campus remains safe and well-maintained.
Contractor Escort & Verification: Accompany external contractors during servicing, repair, or maintenance visits to monitor work progress and ensure adherence to safety protocols.
3. Campus Security & Gate Control
Access Control: Manage access control at school gates, overseeing visitor entry, traffic flow, and security screening to maintain a safe campus environment.
REQUIREMENTS
Educational Qualifications:
BCA Diploma in Facilities Management, Building Services, or a relevant, equivalent qualification.
Work Experience: At least 3 years of relevant hands-on experience in facilities management, site operations, or building maintenance.
Key Attributes & Competencies:
Technical Aptitude: Able to conduct routine fault-finding and perform minor hands-on repairs.
Team Leadership & Communication: Strong interpersonal and communication skills to direct junior staff, coordinate with vendors, and collaborate with school stakeholders.
Adaptability & Drive: Meticulous, capable of multitasking, and comfortable working independently in a dynamic, fast-paced school environment.
