Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Operations Director – Telecom OSS/BSS to lead our 247 L1 operations in Dhaka. You will take complete ownership of end-to-end support across critical telecom OSS/BSS platforms, drive SLA/KPI adherence, lead stakeholder governance, and optimize operational efficiency through automation.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Leadership : Lead 247 L1 support operations across mission-critical OSS/BSS systems, managing incident, request, event, and escalation workflows.
SLA & Governance : Enforce strict adherence to SLAs, OLAs, and operational KPIs; conduct regular service reviews with senior customer stakeholders.
Incident & Problem Management : Coordinate resolution efforts with L2/L3, engineering, and vendor teams; drive Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and preventive actions for recurring issues.
Continuous Improvement : Implement automation, reduce ticket backlog and aging, and uphold ITIL processes, security standards, and change management compliance.
Team & Reporting: Oversee capacity planning, shift rosters, and team mentorship; deliver operational dashboards and daily/weekly/monthly performance reports.
Requirements:
18+ years of experience in Telecom IT / OSS/BSS operations or managed services. Strong domain knowledge of telecom OSS/BSS ecosystems and customer journeys. Proven track record leading 247 L1/NOC/Application Support operations.
In-depth expertise in ITIL service management (Incident, Problem, Change).
Strong executive communication, client governance, and multi-vendor management skills.
