Freight Forwarding Operations Executive (Air & Sea Freight)
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Operations Executive to manage end-to-end import and export shipments.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate air and sea import/export shipments.
- Arrange bookings with airlines, shipping lines, truckers, and overseas agents.
- Prepare and verify shipping documents (HAWB/MAWB, HBL/MBL, invoices, customs documents).
- Monitor shipments and provide timely updates to customers.
- Ensure accurate job costing, billing, and timely job closing.
- Liaise with customers, carriers, customs brokers, and internal teams.
- Ensure compliance with company SOPs and customs regulations.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of freight forwarding operations experience.
- Knowledge of import/export procedures and shipping documentation.
- Good communication skills in English. Mandarin/Chinese is an advantage for liaising with Chinese-speaking customers and overseas agents.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with QTM, CargoWise, or similar freight forwarding systems is an advantage.
- Strong attention to detail, good coordination skills, and ability to work under pressure.
