Job Summary

Operations Executive for Medical Transport Services coordinates and supports daily non-emergency medical transport operations, ensuring timely, safe patient transfers and compliance with healthcare regulations in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Operations Executive /Assistant for Medical Transport Services is responsible for coordinating and assisting day-to-day operations of non-emergency medical transportation. This includes scheduling, dispatching, compliance, vehicle readiness, and personnel coordination to ensure safe, efficient, and timely transport of patients. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced healthcare-related environment.
  • Responsible for the daily scheduling and dispatching of non-emergency medical transport vehicles, wheelchair accessible vehicles and drivers.
  • Responsible for first point of contact with hotline calls and all enquiries. Ensure timely and safe transportation of patients to and from healthcare facilities.
  • Responsible to respond to occurrence happening on the ground.
  • Comfortable with deployment on the ground as supervisor or stand-in ground staff.
  • Coordinate with hospitals, clinics, nursing homes, and internal departments for transport requests. Monitor fleet readiness, maintenance, cleanliness, and compliance
  • with regulatory and safety standards.
  • Maintain updated records for drivers, vehicles, and transport logs
  • (eg. trip sheets, checklists, patient information).
  • Ensure all staff adhere to infection control protocols and patient
  • handling procedures.
  • Support the recruitment, onboarding, and rostering of drivers and
  • attendants.
  • Investigate incidents, accidents, and delays, and report to
  • management with proposed solutions.
  • · Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, transport licensing,
  • and company SOPs.
  • · Prepare and submit regular reports on transport activities, resource usage.
  • · Coordinate procurement of supplies (eg. PPE, stretchers, wheelchairs) and manage inventory.
  • Requirement:
  • · Fresh grad may be considered.
  • · Experience in healthcare industry will be advantageous.
  • · Knowledge on medical equipment will be advantageous.
  • · Must have EMT certification OR nursing qualifications. (enrolled or registered nurse with valid practicing certificate with SNB)
  • Working hours: 5.5 days work week
  • · 9am to 6pm, Mon to Fri
  • · 9am to 1pm, Sat
