Operations Executive

Job Summary

The Operations Executive will support the day-to-dayoperational activities of the business, ensuring smooth and efficient retailoperations, inventory management, order fulfilment, supplier coordination andadministrative processes. The role requires strong organisational skills,attention to detail and the ability to coordinate effectively with internalteams, suppliers and business partners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in managing daily operational activities to ensure smooth and efficient business operations.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and vendors on product orders, deliveries, stock availability and related operational matters.
  • Monitor inventory levels and assist with stock replenishment, stock transfers and inventory control.
  • Conduct regular stock checks and assist in investigating stock discrepancies, damages, shortages and variances.
  • Assist with receiving, checking and organising incoming goods to ensure quantities and product details are accurate.
  • Monitor daily sales, stock movement and operational reports and highlight issues to management.
  • Support the implementation and maintenance of standard operating procedures (SOPs) to improve operational efficiency.
  • Assist with managing customer-related operational matters, including product availability, returns, exchanges and service issues.
  • Monitor housekeeping, product display, workplace safety and general operational standards.
  • Assist with online orders, delivery coordination and fulfilment activities where applicable.
  • Maintain accurate operational records, reports and documentation.
  • Assist with cost control by monitoring wastage, stock losses, operational expenses and other areas of operational efficiency.
  • Support new outlet openings, operational projects and process improvement initiatives.
  • Perform other operational and administrative duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

  • Diploma in Business Administration, Operations Management, Retail Management or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in operations, retail, logistics, inventory or a related environment.
  • Experience in retail, minimart, FMCG or e-commerce operations will be an advantage.
  • Good knowledge of inventory management, stock control and retail operations.
  • Good communication and coordination skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
