Operations Executive (Supporting sales team)

We are looking for a detail-oriented Operations Executive to support our sales team.

Provide administrative and operational support to the Sales team, including preparing quotations, pricing proposals and cost calculations.
Coordinate with operations teams, shipping lines, airlines, overseas agents and vendors to obtain competitive freight rates and support smooth shipment execution.
Respond promptly to customer enquiries, rate requests and shipment-related updates while maintaining a high level of customer service.
Prepare, submit and maintain quotations and related documentation in a timely and organised manner.
Support the preparation of RFQs, tenders and commercial proposals for key accounts.
Ensure sales and operational documentation is accurate and complies with company policies and procedures.
Prepare and submit weekly and monthly sales/operations reports as required by Management.
Maintain proper filing and records of quotations, customer correspondence and sales documentation.
Assist the Sales team with customer follow-ups, account coordination and other business development activities.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by Management.

Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in freight forwarding, logistics, sales support or a similar role.
Good knowledge of sea freight and/or air freight operations will be an advantage.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with customers, suppliers and internal teams.
Highly organised, meticulous and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word and Outlook.
Able to work independently while also being a strong team player.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
Positive, proactive and customer-focused attitude.
